Giving Back to Society
Neo Garden Catering believes in more than just making profits, but also being a socially responsible company. We want to give back to society and play our part in the community that has helped us become who we are today. Our contributions take on various forms, such as, monetary donations and food distributions.
Some of our recent initiatives:
SEED Fund: Fundraising for Nepal Earthquake Relief Work
In view of the earthquakes that hit Nepal in early 2015, management and staff of Neo Group Limited raised total of $20,000 to aid relief works. Funds were donated to relevant organisations via our SEED Fund.
Singapore Swimming Association
In support of Singapore’s aquatic champions, Neo Garden Catering announced a year-long sponsorship of $120,000 with the Singapore Swimming Association in June 2015.
TTADS@YSC Para Table Tennis Training Centre
In support of the Official Opening of the TTADS@YSC Para Table Tennis Training Centre, Neo Garden sponsored light refreshments for guests and participants like Singapore paddlers, Feng Tian Wen, Isabelle Li, Clarence Chew and Chen Feng.
Friends from MINDS were invited to perform at Neo Garden Catering's yearly Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations on 23rd September 2014. To assist the organisation's expenses, $10,000 was donated from the SEED Fund.
Lianhe Wanbo 'Make A Wish'
Neo Garden Catering helped fulfilled the wish of a Lianhe Wanbo reader to sponsor a buffet birthday party for her 15 year old daughter suffering from Crohn disease. It is our privilege to be able to bring joy to both hearts and tummies.
Spectra Secondary School
A sponsorship of $12,000 was given to Spectra Secondary School for their Student Activity Centre. At Spectra Secondary School, the aim is to equip students with technical skills for employment by engaging them in a safe and caring environment.
DSA Buddy Walk & Carnival
Neo Garden Catering took part in DSA Buddy Walk & Carnival on 21st March 2014 which is also known as World’s Down Syndrome Day. The event aims to build stronger team cohesiveness and foster relationship between persons with Down syndrome and the community. All the proceeds go to providing educational, social and developmental programmes for persons with Down syndrome and assistance for their families.
Singapore Table Tennis Association
Neo Garden Catering has stepped forward to support and promote Table Tennis as a world class sport through its cash sponsorship of S$300,000 over the next three years.
Singapore Red Cross Society – Typhoon Haiyan
Neo Garden Catering raised a total of $20,000.00 in a fund-raising drive, organised by Singapore Red Cross Society. All donations went into helping the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in Talcoban to rebuild their homes and recover from this devastating disaster.
Singapore Buddhist Free Clinic
Neo Garden Catering made a donation of $2,000.00 to the Singapore Buddhist Free Clinic (SBFC). The SBFC provides free medical services to the sick and needy to aid in relieving their suffering on illness.
Autism Resource Centre
Neo Garden Catering supported the Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) by donating $5,000.00. The Autism Resource Centre aims to provide resources for autistic individuals, as well as highlighting the need of these resources in our community.
Monthly Healthy Bento Distribution (with SilverAce @ Taman Jurong)
We are delighted to be sponsoring monthly healthy bento lunches to the elderly living in Taman Jurong under NTUC Eldercare. It is also a chance for all the elderly to gather and partake in some activities.
Tan Tock Seng Hospital Community Charity Fund
We contributed $5,000.00 to the Tan Tock Seng Hospital Community Charity Fund, which provides financial support for elderly needy patients and their families.
Singapore Children’s Society – Charity TV Show
We pledged a total of $20,000 during Singapore Children’s Society’s inaugural Charity TV Show. The TV Show’s proceeds will help to fund Children’s Society’s 68 programmes and services, which benefited about 72,000 children, youth and families in 2013.”.
Promisedland Community Services - Lifeblood Centre & Education Foundation
We donated $4,288.00 and $2,400.00 to Promisedland Community Services' Lifeblood Centre and Education Foundation respectively. Lifeblood Centre’s purpose is in helping Thalassemia and cancer patients. This enables them to continue providing ferry services, food rations and medical subsidies for the needy patients. Educational Foundation aims to help children and needy families with pocket money, student centre programme subsidies, scholarship bursaries, textbook grants and sports programmes.
NTUC U Care Fund
Neo Garden Catering sponsored $12,000.00 to NTUC U Care Fund to support low income families, youths, children and elderly. The U Care Fund helps the needy family to subsidise the hefty cost of education with back-to-school vouchers and more.
We donated $2,000.00 to RSVP Singapore. RSVP Singapore is an organisation that believes strongly in active ageing, and is dedicated to providing opportunities for seniors to serve the community through purpose-driven volunteerism.
Early CNY Lunch for Elderly (with Silver Ace @ Taman Jurong)
Neo Garden Catering sponsored an early Chinese New Year buffet lunch for approximately 80 elderly living in Taman Jurong. Apart from a delicious lunch and the tossing of Yu Sheng, they were also treated to plenty of performances by the organiser.
Bag of Love
Neo Garden Catering sponsored school bags filled with stationeries to a group of students facing financial difficulties. NTUC vouchers were also given to their families to help them with their daily lives.
CNY & Valentine's Day Home Visit
Neo Garden Catering visited the elderly at Kheng Chiu Loke Tin Home. Each elderly received a rose and a bag of mandarin oranges since Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day fell on the same day. They were also treated to a CNY buffet and Yu Sheng where everyone took part to Lou Hei.
Jurong Spring Caring & Sharing Night
Neo Garden Catering was delighted to sponsor a buffet dinner for the elderly at Jurong Spring. After a delicious dinner, they were treated to a series of activities and performances by the organizers.
Jurong Central Spring Festive Dinner
Neo Garden Catering sponsored a festive buffet dinner for the elderly residents at Jurong Central. We sponsored Yu Sheng and every resident participated in Lou Hei and enjoyed the lion dance performances and many more.

In appreciation for the unsung heroes in this selfless profession, nurses who have been relentlessly helping others and supporting the overall well-being of the nation, Neo Garden Catering visited Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and Singapore General Hospital (SGH), where we distributed 1200 heart-shaped cookies for the nurses to appreciate their heart and hard work for the community.
